Nia DaCosta calls Shah Rukh a legend, wants to work with him

Nia DaCosta, director of The Marvels said that she would like to work with Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and said, “Shah Rukh Khan is kind of a legend, isn’t he? It’s kind of a no-brainer in that sense.” DaCosta in an interview said that the idea of casting a Bollywood actor in the movie never occurred to her. Farhan Akhtar made an appearance in an episode of Ms Marvel starring Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan or Ms Marvel.

The Marvels brings together three female superheroes— Carol Danvers as Captain Marvel played by Brie Larson, Kamal Khan or Ms Marvel played by Iman Vellani and Captain Monica Rambeau played by Teyonah Parris. The movie will be released on November 10 in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. The latest release from the Marvel Cinematic Universe was season two of Loki. The OTT series wasn't received well by the audiences.

Shah Rukh's recent movies Jawan and Pathaan made waves among the international movie-going population. Shah Rukh Khan, who recently celebrated his 58th birthday, has Dunki, directed by Rajkumar Hiran coming up. Dunki will be released on December 22.
