INDIA BAGS 2 OUTSTANDING CONTESTANT AWARDS & 32 OTHER PRIZES AT BALI & RANKED 2nd POSITION IN THE ABACUS WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP.

32 participants from India participated in the AIAMA World Championship for the Abacus and Mental Math Olympiad Championships, recently hosted by the AIAMA (Abacusking International Abacus and Mental Arithmetic Alliance) at Merusaka Nusa Dua, Badung in Bali, Indonesia on 30th July 2023.

A total of 20 boys and girls aged 6 to 14 from various centres of Wonder Kidz Learning Academy, Mumbai, 9 from Pune Utkarsh Creations & 3 from Madhya Pradesh have made the country proud by winning in their respective groups in Abacus and Mental Maths at the international level. A total of 318 contestants from 14 countries participated in various groups in this event.

In their individual groups, Prisha Satam, Purva Murudkar, Rajveer Gavhane, Vaidehi Shaha, Aounish Patil, Aaradhya Patil, Spruha Apte, Sharvil Shirodkar, Swaraj Sanas, Vihan Shaha, Adhya Choubey, Moksh Adwani, Yuvan Satam, Kaivalya Narkar, Pranav Korgaonkar, Utkarsha Shinde, Neha Kadam, Eureka Patil, Tanmay Shedge, Ruchika Kondhekar and Arya Parocha finished third. Riaan Chandarana, Vivaan Dodhia, Reyaansh Deokar, Gargi Pai, Navya Dash, Prisha Shivdas, Shashwat Dasari, Jay Bhangare, Jivesh Manera, Adhiraj Garg and Tapasva Panchal recorded their names at number two. India won two outstanding Contestant awards and these were awarded to Riaan Chandarana & Reyaansh Deokar.

The teacher of Wonder Kidz Learning Academy, Mrs. Leena Patil & Ms. Shruti Patil received the Best Coach. India bagged the 2nd place for the best team award, while the host country Indonesia was awarded the 1st position for the best team. 

Mr. Ashutosh Patil, India Ambassador and Council member of Abacusking and also Founder & Director of Wonder Kidz Learning Academy, received the trophy on behalf of the Indian team. The 2024 International Competition will be held in India and Wonder Kidz Learning Academy will be the official hosts for the same.
